RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ADOPTED
AT SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON MAY 27, 1958,
AT 7:30 P.M. AUTHORIZING THE STORAGE OF
WATER IN THE SAN MARCOS RESERVOIR BY
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District desires
to store water in the San Marcos Reservoir, and
WHEREAS, the Water Problems Committee of the Carlsbad
Municipal Water District has conferred with the Manager of the
San Marcos County Water District, and
WHEREAS, agreement was reached pursuant to a letter to
Carlshad Municipal Water District from San Marcos dated May 5, 1958
and a letter from Carlsbad Municipal Water District to the San
Marcos County Water District dated May 12th, 1958, and
WHEREAS, it appears that it is for the best interest of
the citizens and tax payers of the San Marcos District to make
full use of the San Marcos Reservoir and to derive as much
revenue as possible from the District's facilities,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President be
authorized to direct a letter to the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District authorizing the storage of water in the San Marcos
Reservoir under the terms and conditions as outlined in the
letters dated May 5, 1958, and May 12, 1958.

1958.
