RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
ADOPTED AT AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
HELD NOVEMBER 19, 1957, AT 7:30 P. M.
AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE
The Board of Directors of San Marcos County Water District DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
WHEREAS, the Attorney for the San Marcos County Water District has
requested the firm of O'Melvany & Myers to render legal services in connec-
tion with the authorization and issuance of bonds in this District for an
improvement district therein, and
WHEREAS, O'Melveny & Meyers have indicated in a letter dated October
24th, 1957 that they will be happy to accept such employment, and
WHEREAS, their services will consist of the drafting of all resolu-
tions, notices and other documents required in the bond proceedings, the
general supervision of the proceedings, the examination of the proceedings
step by step as taken, and the issuance of their approving opinion to the
purchaser of the bonds. Also examine proceedings taken for the annexation
of certain territory to the district and to the proposed improvement district.
For these services their fee, based on issue of $200.000. will be $7.50.
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of San Marcos County Water Dis-
trict does hereby resolve, determine and order that the firm of O'Melvaney
& Myers be employed as bond counsel and have general supervision of the pro-
ceedings.
