RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
MAKING DETERMINATIONS RELATING TO A
CERTAIN DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, on October 14, 1957, this Board of
Directors adopted its resolution determining that this
Board deems it necessary for the San Marcos County Water
District to incur a bonded indebtedness in the sum of
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for the purpose
of the acquisition and construction of works and
facilities for the collection, treatment and disposal
of sewage, waste and storm water of the district and
its inhabitants, including the necessary land, ease-
ments, rights of ways, sewage trunk lines, works,
machinery, and other property, together with all
necessary engineering and legal services in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, in said resolution this Board fixed
Monday, November 4, 1957, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., at the
office of the San Marcos County Water District,
Encinitas Road, near Bent Avenue, San Marcos, San Diego
County, California, as the time and place for the hear-
ing by this Board on the questions: will the whole or
only a portion of the district be benefited by the
accomplishment of said purpose, and, if only a portion
of the district will be benefited, what portion will
be so benefited; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing evidence was presented
to the Board on the said questions before it, and this
Board is fully advised in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the
San Marcos County Water District does hereby RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That as a result of said hearing
and upon the said evidence presented, this Board does
hereby determine that the whole of said district will
not be benefited by the accomplishment of said purpose,
and that only a portion of said district will be bene-
fited by the accomplishment of said purpose, which
portion so benefited is determined to be the portion
of said district lying within an exterior boundary
line described as follows:
PARCEL "A"
Those portions of Sections 19, 29, and 30 all in T.12 S.,
R. 3 W., S.B.M., in the County of San Diego, State of California,
according to the United States Government Survey thereof, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Section 29:
Course No. 1 THENCE Westerly along the South line of said Section to the
Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter thereof;
Course No. 2 THENCE Northerly along the North-South centerline of said
Section to the South line of the North half of the Southwest
quarter of said Section;
Course No. 3 THENCE Westerly along said South line to the West line of
the East half of said Southwest quarter;
Course No. 4 THENCE Northerly along said West line to the East-West
center line of said Section;
Course No. 5 THENCE Westerly along said East-West centerline to the
East line of said Section 30;
PARCEL "A" continued:
Course No. 6 THENCE Westerly along the East-West center line of said Section
30 to the West line of the East half of the Northeast quarter
of said Section;
Course No. 7 THENCE Northerly along said West line to the South line of the
North Half of the North half of said Section;
Course No. 8 THENCE Westerly along said South line to the North-South
centerline of said Section;
Course No. 9 THENCE Northerly along said North-South centerline to the
South line of said Section 19;
Course No. 10 THENCE Northerly along the North--South centerline of said
Section 19 to the North line of the South half of the South
half of said Section;
Course No. 11THENCE Easterly along said North line to the West line of the
East half of the Southeast quarter of said Section 19;
Course No. 12THENCE Northerly along said West line to the North line of
said Southeast quarter;
Course No. 13THENCE Easterly along said North line to an intersection with
the Westerly right of way line of that certain County of San
Diego road known as "Rancho Santa Fe Road";
Course No. 14 THENCE Southerly along said Westerly right of way to the North
line of said Section 29;
Course No. 15THENCE Easterly along said North line to the East line of the
West half of the Northeast Quarter of said Section
Course No. 16THENCE Southerly along said East line to the North line of the
South half of the Southeast quarter of said Section;
Course No. 17 THENCE Easterly along said North line to the East line of said
Southeast quarter;
Course No. 18 THENCE Southerly along said East line to the point of beginning.
PARCEL "B"
Those portions of Sections 16, 17, and 20, all in T.12 S., R.3 W.
S.B.M. in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to the United
States Government Survey thereof, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of said Section 17
with the Southwesterly line of Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos as shown on
Map thereof No. 806 as filed in the office of the Recorder of said San Diego
County, December 21, 1895;
Course No. 1 THENCE Southeasterly along said Southwesterly line of said
Rancho to the intersection with the Northerly right of way
line of that certain County of San Diego road known as "Encinitas
Road";

the Southwest quarter of said Section 17 to the Northwest corner
thereof;
Course No. 9 THENCE Easterly along the North line of said Quarter Quarter to
the North-South center line of said Section 17;
Course No. 10 THENCE Northerly along said North-South centerline to the North
line of said Section 17;
Course No. 11 THENCE Easterly along said North line to the point of beginning.

Block 77, of Rancho Los Vallecites de San Marcos as shown on Map
No. 806 on file with the County Recorder of San Diego County.
PARCEL "D"
Block 51 of Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos, and the Northwesterly
2 1/2 acres of Lot 1, Block 110, of Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos as shown on
Map No. 806 on file with the County Recorder of San Diego County.
PARCEL "E"
Lot 2, of Block 86, Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos.
PARCEL "F"
All of Lot 7 in Block 68 excepting the Southerly 150 ft. thereof,
and the Northerly 575 feet of the Westerly 120.5 feet of Lot 8 in Block 68
of Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos.
PARCEL "G"
Northerly 475 feet of the Westerly 230 feet of Lot 5, Block 68, of
Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos, as shown on Map No. 806 on file with the
County Recorder of San Diego County.

Section 2. That the portion of said San Marcos
County Water District described in Section 1 hereof shall
hereupon constitute and be known as "Improvement District
No. 1 of San Marcos County Water District."

NOTICE OF HEARING
Pursuant to Section 31370 of hte Water Code of the State
of California, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 14, 1957, the
Board of Directors of San Marcos County Water District adopted a
resolution, a full, true and correct copy of which accompanies and
immediately follows this notice.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the hearing referred to in
said resolution will be had at the time and place specified in said
resolution, to witt: on Monday, November 4, 1957, at the hour 7:30
o'clock P.M. of said day, at the office of the San Marcos County Water
District, Encinitas Road, Near Bent Avenue, San Marcos, San Diego County,
California.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and place specified
in said resolution and above given, any person interested, including
all persons owning property in said district, will be heard upon the ques-
tions stated in said resolution.
