RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING
ITS 2005 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of the Urban Water Management
Planning Act (Act), California Water Code Sections 10610 through 10656, in 2001, the
Vallecitos Water District adopted and filed an Urban Water Management Plan (Plan);
and
WHEREAS, the Vallecitos Water District has completed the 2005 Urban Water
Management Plan Update (Update) pursuant to the provisions of the Act; and
WHEREAS, the Update is the formal document to discuss past, current, and
projected water demands; current and alternate water conservation measures; water
supply deficiencies; and future water management practices; and the Update has been
available for public review, and a properly noticed public hearing was held on
February 15, 2006.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District adopts the Vallecitos Water District 2005 Update and that the
Update be submitted to the California Department of Water Resources within 30 days.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District at a regular meeting held on this 15th day of February 2006, by the following roll
call vote:
