RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ADOPTED
AT THE REGULAR MEETING HELD MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 2, 1959
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of January 1959 a petition was
presented by a group of land owners in the area south of Encinitas
Road in San Marcos for inclusion into San Marcos County Water
District Improvement District tqo. 1 and Improvement District No.
2 of the hereinafter described lands, and
WHEREAS, notice of said petition and hearing thereon was
duly given by the Secretary of said District, and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on February 2, 1959 pursuant
to said notice and pursuant to Division 12, Part 2, article II
of the Water Code of the State of California, and
WHEREAS at said hearing evidence wss presented to the
Board and the Board being fully advised in the premises.
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District hereby resolves, determines and orders:
That said land shall be included in the San Marcos County
Water District Improvement District No. 1 and Improvement District
No. 2.
The description of the land subject to the foregoing
inclusion is described ss follows:
Those portions of Blocks 68, 69, 73, and 74 of Rancho Los Vallecitos
de San Marcos according to Map 7806 described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of the County road
known as Encinitas Road with the center line of the County road
known as Echo Lane between Blocks 62 and 68 of Rancho Los Valle-
citos de San Marcos.

1. Thence S 73°20' W along the center line of Encinitas Road
a distance of 264 feet;
2. Thence SE'ly at right angles to sgd center line a distance
of 6 26 feet;
3. Thence S 73°20' W 693 feet to t he Easterly line of Lot 6 of
o'clock 68;
4. ,Thence N'ly along said Easterly line 626 feet to the
center line of Encinitas Road;
5. Thence S 73°20' W a distance of 693 feet to the Easterly
line of the most Westerly 231 feet of Lot 5 in Block 68;
6. Thence SE'ly along said line a distance of 507 feet;
7. Thence S 73°20' W a distance of 264 feet to the center
line of the County road known as Bent Avenue;
Thence NW'ly along ssdd contot line a distance of 507
feet to the center line of Encinitas Road;
9. Thence S 73°20' W along the center line of said Encinitas
Road a distance of 6500 feet, more or less, to its inter-
section with the line of !Zenncho Los Vallecitos de San
Marcos between Post V.S.W. #15 and Post V.S. W. #16 as
shown on Map p806 dated December 21 1995
10, Thence SE'ly along said Rancho line a distance of
feet, more or less, to its intersection with the SW'ly
prolongation of the most S'ly line of Lot Block 74
in Rancho Los Vallecitos de San Marcos;
11. Thence N 73°20' E along said S'ly line of Lot 3 and its
NE'ly prolongation thru Blocks 74, 73, 69, and 68 a distance
of 7450 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the
center. line of above defined Echo Lane;
12. Thence NW'ly along.. said center line a distance of 626 feet
to the true point of beginning,
