RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS
OF ELECTION RETURNS OF ELECTION HELD
IN IMPRO~lENT DISTRICT NO. 2 OF SAID
DISTRICT.
The Board of Directors of San Marcos County
Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1.
That a special bond election was
duly called and regularly held in Improvement District
No.2 of said district on the 30th day of September~ 1958,
at which election there was submitted to the qualified
voters of said district the following proposition, to wit:
PROPOSITION: Shall the San Marcos County
Water District incur a bonded indebtedness for
Improvement District No.2 thereof in the prin-
cipal sum of $250,000 for the purpose of the
acquisition and conctruction of additional trunk
sewers and appurtenances and appurtenant work,
including the acquisition of the necessary land,
easements, rights of way, works, machinery and
other property, together with all necessary
engineering and legal services in connection
therewith?

Section 2. That the returns of said election
have been duly and regularly canvasaed by this Board as
provided by law, and all absentee ballots have been
returned and aanvassed.
Section 3. That the votes cast in the preoinot(s)

tion and the total votes oàst in said precinct(s), and the
absentee votes cast for and against said proposition and
the total absentee votes, and the total votes cast at s~ld
eleotion for and against said proposition and upon said
proposition are as follows:

Section 4. 'rhat the votes of more than two-thirds
of all the voters voting at said election were cast in
favor of the adopÙon of said bond proposition, and said
bond proposition is hereby declared to be carried, and this
Board is authori~ed to issue bonds for. the purpose stated
therein as provided by law.
Section 5; 'rhat the Secretary of this Board is
hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in the
minutes of this Board.

STATEMENT OF SECRETARY
I, ANNA D. CHARLTON, Secretary of San Marcos
County Water District, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the above
and foregoing resolution is a full, true and correct state-
ment of the facts of canvass of the special bond election
held in Improvement District No.2 of said district on the
30th day of September, 1958, and of the results thereof as
declared by said Board, and said resolution as entered in
full on the minutes of said Board is hereby adopted by me
as my statement of the canvass of the returns of said
election and the results thereof.
