RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
W. DENINIS WOOD, MANAGER OF THE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT TO APPLY
FOR A FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWAGE TREAT-
MENT WORKS UNDER 33 U.S.C. 466 et. sea.
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary that certain construction
be performed to increase capacity of the District sewage disposal
facilities to forestall and prevent creatfon of circumstances
concerning protection of the public health, end
'WHEREAS, estimated costs of this construction is in
excess of District's financial means, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the District would be eligible
for grants under 33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Manager, W. Dennis
Wood be and hereby is authorized and directed to file application
with the Department of Health, Education and Welfare for grant of
sufficient monies to perform necessary improvement works.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 4th day of April, 1960.
