RESOLUTION N0. 121
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
MAKING DETERMINATIONS RELATING TO BENEFIT
FROM THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF A CERTAIN DIS-
TRICT PURPOSE AND THE INCURRING OF BONDED
INDEBTEDNESS THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, this Board ~f Directors adopted
Resolution No. 115 deeming it necessary and declar-
ing the necessity for said district to incur a bonded
indebtedness in the sum of $ 1,250,000 for the following
purpose:
the acquisition and construction of works,
property, rights, and privileges useful or
necessary to convey, supply, store, or
make use of water for any district purpose,
including the extension of existing
pipelines, a water transmission pipeline
with appurtenances and appurtenant works
from the Second San Diego Aqueduct to a
point within said district, a clorination
station, reservoirs, and the acquisition
of all land, easements, pipe, pumps,
valves, machinery, apparatus, equipment
and other property necessary for any of
the foregoing, and including the payment
of engineering, inspection and legal fees,
costs of the issuance of the bonds and
other costs and expenses necessary for the
accomplishment of any of the foregoing.

WHEREAS, by said resolution this Board fixed
a time and place for hearing by this Board on the follow-
ing questions:
(1) Will the whole or only a portion of
the district be benefited by the accomplishment
of said purpose ?
(2) If only a portion of the district will
be benefited, what portion will be so benefited?
and
WHEREAS, copies of said resolution, accompanied
by notice of said hearing, were duly. posted as pro-
vided by law and said hearing was duly held at the time
and place so fixed and all continuances thereof, if any,
were duly .made and ordered; and
WHEREAS, at said time and place said hearing was
had before this Board and all persons interested, including
persons owning property within the district, were given
the opportunity to appear and present any matters material
to the questions set forth in said resolution, and a full
and fair hearing has been had; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing evidence was presented
to this Board on the questions before it and this Board
is fully advised in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER that as a result

of said hearing and upon said evidence as presented, this
Board does hereby determine that the whole of said dis-
trict will be benefited by the accomplishment of the
purpose stated in the recitals hereof and the proposed
bond issue.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of day of
June, 1960
