RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
TO REQUEST EXCLUSION FROM THE PRO-
POSED NORTHERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY SMALL
CRAFT HARBOR DISTRICT
WHEREAS, thle Bueno Colorado Municipal Water District
is within the boundaries of the proposed Northern San Diego
County Small Craft Harbor District, and
WHEREAS, San Marcos County Water District is within
the boundaries of the Bueno Colorado Municipal Water District,
and
WHEREAS, the proposed Harbor District anticipates a
tax against the land within its boundaries which, added to
existing taxes of this District, would cause a direct and
overlapping bonded indebtedness believed to be in excess
of the area's ability to accept, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of San Marcos County
Water District expects that the costs of the proposed Harbor
District would be greater than the expected benefits to the
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE that the Bueno Colorado
Municipal Water District be, and it is hereby requested to take
action to be excluded from the boundaries of the proposed Northern
San Diego County Small Craft Harbor District.
