RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
TO REQUEST EXCLUSION FROM THE PRO-
POSED NORTHERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY SMALL
CRAFT HARBOR DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Bueno Colorado Municipal Water District is
within the boundaries of the proposed Northern San Diego County
Small Craft Harbor District, and
WHEREAS, San Marcos County Water District is within the
boundaries of the Bueno Colorado Municipal Water District, and
WHEREAS, the proposed Harbor District anticipates a
tax against the land within its boundaries, which added to
existing taxes of this District would cause a direct and over-
lapping bonded indebtedness believed to be in excess of the area' s
ability to accept, and
'WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of San Marcos County
Water District expects that the costs of ~he proposed Harbor
District would ~e greater than the expected benefits to the
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board
of Supervisors be and they hereby are requested to exclude all
of ~he lands within the San Marcos County Water District from
the boundaries of the proposed Small Craft Harbor District.
