RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS
OF ELECTION RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL
ELECTION HELD IN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 3 OF SAID DISTRICT ON TUESDAY,
APRIL 19, 1960.
The Board of Directors of San Marcos County
Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1. That a special bond election was
duly called and regularly held in Improvement District
No. 3 of said district on the 19th day of April, 1960,
at which election there was submitted to the qualified
voters of said district the following proposition,
to wit:
PROPOSITION: Shall the San Marcos
County Water District incur a bonded
indebtedness for Improvement District
No. 3 thereof in the principal sum of
$80,000 for the purpose of the acqui-
sition and construction of additional
trunk sewers and appurtenant work, in-
cluding the acquisition of all land,
easements, rights of way, pipe, valves,
machinery and other property necessary
for any of the foregoing together with
all necessary engineering and legal
services in connection therewith?
Section 2. That the returns of said election
have been duly and regularly canvassed by this Board as
provided by law.
Section 3- That the votes cast in the precinct(s)
established for said election for and against said proposi-
tion and the total votes cast in said precinct(s), and the
total votes cast at said election for and against said
proposition and upon said proposition are as follows:

Section 4. That the votes of more than two-thirds
of all the voters voting at said election were cast in
favor of the adoption of said bond proposition, and said
bond proposition is hereby declared to be carried, and this
Board is authorized to issue bonds for the purpose stated
therein as provided by law.
Section 5- That the Secretary of this Board is
hereby directed to enter this resolution in full in the
minutes of this Board.

STATEMENT OF SECRETARY
I, ANNA D. CHARLTON , Secretary of
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the above and foregoing resolution
is a full, true and correct statement of the facts of
canvass of the special bond election held in said district
on the 19th day of April 1960 and of the resultsl
thereof as declared by said Board, and said resolution as
entered in full on the minutes of said Board is hereby
adopted by me as my statement of the canvass of the returns
of said election and the results thereof.

This being the time and place fixed for the
canvass of the returns of the special bond
election held on Aoril 19 ,19 60, the returns of
said election (and the absentee votes cast at said elec-
tion) were duly and regularly canvassed as provided by
law.
It was moved byDirector Smith , seconded
by Director Blanchard , that the following resolution
declaring the result of said canvass be adopted, and that
said resolution, together with a Secretary's statement,
be set forth in full on the minutes.:

posted at each of the following public places in the San Marcos
County Water District - Improvement District No. 4 ,to wit:
, (1) On Grand Avenue near "B" Street, adjacent to S.D.G.& E. Co. power pole #718363
(2) Corner Descanso & "B" Street, adjacent to County Road Dept. buildings
(4) West side of Rancho Santa Fe Road between Grand and Descanso.
