RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AWARDING
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ON UNIT "E", IN THE
AMOUNT OF $288,139.50.
'WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, bids were received
on Unit "E" and
WHEREAS, said bids were publicly opened on April 3, 1961,
at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of San Marcos
County Water District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of San Marcos
County Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the construction of
Unit ~'E~ of the $1,250,000 water expansion project, is hereby
awarded to N. P. Van Valkenburgh & Co., Inc.
Section 2. That said contract is in the amount of
$288,139.50.
Section 3. That all other bids and/or proposals received
pursuant to said Public Notice are hereby rejected.
Section 4. That the President and Secretary of the Board
of Directors are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
contract documents on Unit ~'E'~ between San Marcos County Water
District and N. P. Van Valkenburgh & Co., Inc.
