RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
W. DENNIS WOOD, MANAGER-SECRETARY OF
OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
TO APPLY FOR A FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWAGE
TREATMENT WORKS UNDER 33 U.S.C 466 at. seq.
WHERAS
it is deemed necessary that certain construction
be performed to increase capacity of the District sewage disposal
facilities to forestall, and prevent creation of circumstances
concerning protection of the public health, and
%~,IEREAS, estimated costs of this construction is tn ex-
cess of District' s financial means, and
~'~EREAS, it appears that the District would be eligible
for grants under 33 U.S.C. 466 et. scq.
THEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Manager-Secretary, W.
Dennis Wood be and hereby is authorized and directed to file
application with the Department of Health, Education and Wel-
fare for grant of sufficient monies to perform necessary Im-
provement works.
