RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR PAYMENT OF CERTAIN
CONSTRUCTION COSTS
WHEREAS San Marcos County Water District has contracted
with the State of California, Division of Highways, for relo-
cation of certain District facilities and
WHEREAS State of California agrees to reimburse said
District for costs of said relocation, including costs of
interest on monies borrowed to finance such construction and
WHEREAS partial payment for such construction is now
due and payable
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that W. Dennis Wood,
Secretary-Auditor of San Marcos County Water District, be
and hereby is authorized and directed to negotiate a loan
with the First National Bank of Vista, Vista, California
in the amount of Fifty Eight Thousand and Two Hundred
Dollars, ($58,200). Loan to be for period of 90 days at
51/2% interest.

MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT, HELD MONDAY, 0CTOBF~ 17, 1960
AT 7:30 P.M. AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE.
The President called the meeting to order, and the
Acting Secretary called the roll. Directors answering pre-
sent were Blanchard, Dodda, Mahr, Smith and Trussell.
The President declared a quorum present.
Also present were: W. Dennis Wood, Manager; Leslie A.
Clayton, Engineer; James Guerin of Schwabsaber and Co.; Clyde
Ditsworth of Boyle Engineering and Binds Nell Freeman, Acting
Secretary.
Visitors were: L. G. Mason, Homer Norris, James
Downing, J. J. Jackson and William M. Morgan.
Directors Mahr and Nanchard were called from the
meeting at 10:30 P.M. in response to a fire call.
MOTION WAS MADE by Director Dodds, seconded
by Director Smith that the Board adopt Res-
olution No. 138 authorizing Secretary-Audi-
tor to negotiate a loan with the First Na-
tional Bank of Vista for $58,200 for pro-
gress payment on Freeway Relocation Project.
Motion carried with the following polled
votes'.
AYES: Directors: Dodds, Smith and Trussell
NOES: Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: Blanchard and Mahr

at 11:30 P.M.

by Director Blanchard that this meeting be
adjourned to Friday, October 21, 1960 at
