RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
The Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District
does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County
and the San Diego County Tax Collector are hereby requested to
revise the tax bills sent to taxpayers within the county of San
Diego so as to show upon said tax bills the tax rates established
for special districts within the county of San Diego.
Section 2: That the listing of the tax rates on the tax bills
of special districts would be informative and educational for the
taxpayers of the county of San Diego and would more clearly
present the cost of providing the various services to the citizens
and taxpayers of the county of San Diego.
Section 3: That the present method of combining the tax
rates for all of the special districts with the county of San
Diego and setting forth upon said tax bill said combined rate,
does not clearly show said taxpayer the cost of the services he
is receiving.
Section 4: That the Secretary of the San Marcos County
Water District is hereby instructed and directed to provide the
Board of Supervisors of San Diego County and the San Diego County
Tax Collector with a certified copy of this resolution.
