RESOLUTION NO. 1269
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
APPOINTING JAMES W. POLTL TO SERVE ON THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS, DIVISION 3, UNTIL THE NEXT
DISTRICT GENERAL ELECTION IN NOVEMBER 2006
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District, Division 3, for the office formerly held by Paul Davy; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code section 1780, the Board of Directors
may appoint a Director to fill the vacancy for Division 3 until the next District election in
2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District does
hereby resolve, find, determine, and order as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to section 1780 of the Government Code, the Board of
Directors of the Vallecitos Water District hereby appoints James W. Poltl to serve as a
member of the Board of Directors for Division 3 until the next District general election in
2006.
Section 2: The Secretary of the Vallecitos Water District is hereby directed to
deliver forthwith one (1) certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Diego.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of June, 2006 by the
following roll call vote:
