RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
HONORING BOARD MEMBER PAUL DAVY
WHEREAS, Paul Davy, as a publicly elected official served the citizens of the Vallecitos Water District as a
member of the Board of Directors from December 7, 1994 to June 7, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Paul Davy, served as President of the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District for 3
terms, and as a member on the Engineering/Equipment Committee, Finance/Investment Committee, Ad Hoc
Committee, Legal/Legislative Committee and Public Awareness/Personnel Policy Committee; and
WHEREAS, Paul Davy, served as an appointed representative of Vallecitos Water District to the Western
Coalition of Arid States; the Encina Wastewater Authority; California Association of Sanitation Agencies Legislative
Committee, and the Council of Water Utilities; and
WHEREAS, Paul Davy, served the District for 12 years with great skill and devotion, demonstrating his ability
to work with other Board members, customers, and employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, Paul Davy, has performed a wide range of duties in support of District activities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of Paul Davy be given on
behalf of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of
Board member Paul Davy.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves, the
management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does hereby express its appreciation for the
very valuable and professional work performed by Paul Davy.
SECTION 3. The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service of Paul Davy on behalf of this District and his
devoted loyalty are hereby commended as part of the permanent records of the Vallecitos Water District.
SECTION 4. The Board of Directors, staff, and employees of the District, collectively and individually, will
greatly miss Paul Davy.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at a Regular
meeting held on the 5th day of July, 2006 by the following roll call vote:
