RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES OF WILLIAM W. RUCKER
WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. RUCKER has served the Vallecitos Water District for a
combined 32 years beginning in September, 1973 as a Utility Work I and serving as the
General Manager since December, 1984; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. RUCKER has been active and represented the District
in numerous organizations, associations, and committees within the water industry; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. RUCKER has continually demonstrated a remarkable
seNice ethic and dedication to the District, it's employees and customers, as well as the
water industry, the community, and his family; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. RUCKER has raised the bar in terms of his diligent
efforts, selfless service, and devoted loyalty; and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. RUCKER supported personal and professional
development of staff and has been instrumental in the development of a capable and
motivated workforce; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services
of WILLIAM W. RUCKER on behalf of the District be given.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District does hereby extend its deep gratitude and appreciation to
William W. Rucker for his years of dedicated service and does heartily extend best
wishes that his retirement be characterized by peace, prosperity, health, and longevity.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of March, 2010 by the following
roll call vote:
