RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT DESIGNATING THE DISTRICT
REPRESENTATIVE, PATRICIA HANNAN, TO A MEMBER OF THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Vallecitos Water District is a member of the San Diego County Water
Authority and entitled to one representative to serve as a member of the Board of Directors
of the San Diego County Water Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 1332 on December 9,
2009, reappointing Margaret E. Ferguson as the District's representative on the Board of
Directors of the San Diego County Water Authority; and
WHEREAS, the term of office of Margaret E. Ferguson as representative of
the Vallecitos Water District on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water
Authority expires on March 13, 2016;
WHEREAS, Margaret E. Ferguson has expressed interest in resigning from
her position on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water Authority prior to her
term expiration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District as follows:
SECTION 1: The President of the Board, with the approval of the Board of Directors,
does hereby appoint Patricia Hannan as a member of the Board of Directors of the San
Diego County Water Authority as a representative of this District on said Board for the
remainder of the term ending March 13, 2016.
SECTION 2: The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to provide a certified
copy of this resolution to the San Diego County Water Authority.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District at a regular meeting held on the 2"d day of June, 2010 by the following roll call
