RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT DESIGNATING THE DISTRICT
REPRESENTATIVE, MARGARET E. FERGUSON, TO A MEMBER OF THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Vallecitos Water District is a member of the San Diego County Water
Authority and entitled to one representative to serve as a member of the Board of Directors
of the San Diego County Water Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 1349 on June 2, 2010,
appointing Patricia Hannan as the District's representative on the Board of Directors of the
San Diego County Water Authority; and
WHEREAS, the term of office of Patricia Hannan as representative of the
Vallecitos Water District on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Water Authority
expires on March 13, 2016;
WHEREAS, effective December 1, 2010, Patricia Hannan will no longer serve on the
Vallecitos Water District Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District as follows:
SECTION 1: The President of the Board, with the approval of the Board of Directors,
does hereby appoint Margaret E. Ferguson as a member of the Board of Directors of the
San Diego County Water Authority as a representative of this District for the remainder of the
term ending March 13, 2016.
SECTION 2: The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to provide a certified
copy of this resolution to the San Diego County Water Authority.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District at a regular meeting held on the Soh day of December, 2010, by the following
roll call vote:
