RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE
SERVICES OF JON SHERWOOD
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement of Jon
1Sherwood;and
WHEREAS, Jon Sherwood has served the Vallecitos Water District for over 33 years beginning in
July, 1977 as a Meter Reader and serving through the years as a Meter Repairman, Water System
Operator, Distribution Supervisor, and Water Operations Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, Jon Sherwood served the District for more than 33 years with great skill and devotion,
demonstrating his ability to work with customers and other employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, Jon Sherwood has performed a wide range of duties in support of District activities;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of Jon Sherwood
on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves, the
management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does hereby express its
appreciation for the very valuable and professional work performed by Jon Sherwood.
SECTION 2. The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service of Jon Sherwood on behalf of this
District and his devoted loyalty are hereby commended as part of the permanent records of the Vallecitos
Water District.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors, staff and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish Jon Sherwood the best fortune in his future.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at
a regular meeting held on the 8'h day of December, 2010, by the following roll call vote:
