RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE
SERVICES OF MICHAEL KIDD
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement of Michael
Kidd; and
I
WHEREAS, Michael Kidd has served the Vallecitos Water District for 30 years beginning in June
1981 as a Utility I and serving through the years as a Utility II, Water Quality Technician, Water Quality
Inspector, Water Quality Inspector /Computer Technician, and Computer Technician; and
WHEREAS, Michael Kidd served the District for 30 years with great skill and devotion,
demonstrating his ability to work with customers and other employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, Michael Kidd has performed a wide range of duties in support of District activities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of Michael Kidd
on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves, the
management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does hereby express its
appreciation for the very valuable and professional work performed by Michael Kidd.
SECTION 2. The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service on behalf of this District, and devoted
loyalty of Michael Kidd are hereby commended as part of the permanent records of the Vallecitos Water
District.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors, staff and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish Michael Kidd the best fortune in his future.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at
a regular meeting held on the 20 day of April 2011 by the following roll call vote:
