RESOLUTION NO. 1685
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE GRANT FUNDS
ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION UNDER THE FISCAL YEAR 22/23 STATE AND
LOCAL CYBERSECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (SLCGP)
WHEREAS, the Vallecitos Water District has enacted the Fiscal Year 22/23 State
and Local Cybersecurity Grant program, which provides funds to eligible entities to
address cybersecurity risks and threats to information systems owned or operated by, or
on behalf of, State, Local, or Tribal governments; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT as follows:
The District General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Chief Technology
Officer, is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the Vallecitos Water District,
a county water district, organized and existing pursuant to Water Code section 30000 et
seq., any actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining federal financial assistance
provided by the federal Department of Homeland Security and subgranted through the
State of California for the following Grant Award:
FY 22/23 STATE AND LOCAL CYBERSECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (SLCGP)
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos
Water District at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of February 2025, by the following
roll call vote:
AYES: PENNOCK, KERSCHBAUM, BOYD-HODGSON, ELITHARP, HERNANDEZ
