RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE
SERVICES OF GEORGE "RICH" ARRANT
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District wishes to recognize Rich Arrant
after 24 years of service to Vallecitos Water District; and
WHEREAS, Rich Arrant began his career at Vallecitos Water District in April 1988 as a Utility I and
serving through the years as a Water Systems Worker I, Water Systems Worker 11, Water Systems Worker
III, Distribution /Collection Supervisor, Systems Maintenance Supervisor, and Operations and Maintenance
Manager ; and
WHEREAS, Rich Arrant served the District with skillfulness and dedication, demonstrating his
ability to work with customers and other employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, Rich Arrant has performed a wide range of duties in support of District activities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to publicly recognize the services of Rich Arrant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District as
follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of themselves, the
management and personnel of the District, does hereby express its appreciation for the very valuable and
professional work performed by Rich Arrant.
SECTION 2. The contribution and diligent efforts of Rich Arrant on behalf of this District are hereby
commended as part of the permanent records of the Vallecitos Water District.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors, staff and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish Rich Arrant the best fortune in his future.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at
a regular meeting held on the 7th day of March, 2012, by the following roll call vote:
