RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT INCREASING THE
SALARY OF THE GENERAL MANAGER 1.5%
WHEREAS, Dennis 0. Lamb has served in the position of General Manager of
the Vallecitos Water District since January 5, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the General Manager receives the same benefits as all employees
of the District and his current salary is $196,555; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has recently completed the evaluation of the
General Manager and has established goals and objectives as part of the District's
Strategic Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to increase the General Manager's
salary one and one -half percent (1'/z %) to $199,499 which will place the General
Manager at the average compensation level of 18 General Managers who work for
Special Districts in San Diego County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District as follows:
SECTION 1: INCREASE IN SALARY OF GENERAL MANAGER.
Effective December 1, 2012 the salary of the General Manager shall be
increased to $199,499.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District at a regular meeting held on the 215r day of November, 2012,
by the following roll call vote:
