RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING THE
CALPERS AMENDED AND RESTATED DEFERRED
COMPENSATION (SECTION 457) PLAN
WHEREAS, the District previously adopted the CalPERS Deferred Compensation Plan
4 and agreed to follow the terms of the CalPERS plan document, per District Resolution 1101, on or

about December 15, 1999;
WHEREAS, the CalPERS plan document was amended and restated, effective January 1,

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District (District) wishes to
continue to allow its employees to benefit from having access to the CalPERS Deferred
Compensation Plan on an individual, elective basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District as follows:
1. The Board of Directors does hereby reaffirm adoption of the CalPERS 457 Plan,
and hereby formally adopts the Amended and Restated CalPERS Plan document attached
hereto;
2. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the General Manager to execute any and
all documents necessary and appropriate to effectuate the purpose of this reaffirmed adoption,
and to ensure continuous and uninterrupted District participation in and compliance with the
attached Amended and Restated CaIPERS Plan document; and,
3. All other previously- enacted Resolutions which conflict with this Resolution are
hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at a
regular meeting held on this 6th day of February, 2013, by the following roll call vote:
