OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICES OF
JAMES W. POLTL
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement of
James W. Poltl from the Board; and
WHEREAS, James W. Poltl served Vallecitos Water District for 8 years beginning with his
appointment in 2006 and serving through the years as the District's representative to the Encina
Wastewater Authority (EWA) Board currently serving as President, EWA Policy and Finance
Committee serving previously as Chair, California Association of Sanitation Agencies Delegate, and
on the LAFCO Advisory Committee;
WHEREAS, James W. Poltl served the District for those 8 years with integrity, great skill and
devotion, demonstrating his ability to work with other Board members, customers, and employees of
the District;
WHEREAS, James W. Poltl has performed a wide range of duties in support of District
activities, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of James
W. Poltl on behalf of the District be given.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District as follows:
SECTION 1: The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of
themselves, the management and personnel of the District, and the citizens of the District, does
hereby express its appreciation for the very valuable and professional work performed by James W.
Poltl and wishing him the best fortune in his future.
SECTION 2: The contribution, diligent efforts, and selfless service of James W. Poltl, on
behalf of this District and his devoted loyalty, are hereby commended as part of the permanent
records of the Vallecitos Water District.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of November, 2014, by the following roll call vote:
