RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
APPOINTING PATRICIA HANNAN TO SERVE ON
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS UNTIL THE NEXT
DISTRICT GENERAL ELECTION IN NOVEMBER 2000
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District for the office formerly held by Terry Thielen; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code section 1780, the Board of Directors may
appoint a director to fill the vacancy until the next District election in 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District does
hereby resolve, find, determine, and order as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to section 1780 of the Government Code, the Board of Directors
of the Vallecitos Water District hereby appoints Patricia Hannan to serve as a member of the
Board of Directors until the next District general election in 2000.
Section 2: The Secretary of the Vallecitos Water District is hereby directed to deliver
forthwith one (1) certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of San Diego.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District held on November 3, 1999, by the following vote:
