RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN MARCOS CODIqTY WATER DISTRICT
RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE BOND
ISSUES OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
AND METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT, WHICH WILL
APPEAR ON THE JUNE 7, 1966 BALLOT
WHEREAS, the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT has the
responsibility of assuring to residents of the San Marcos
area a plentiful and uninterrupted supply of imported water, and
WHEREAS, water from Northern California will be available to
Metropolitan Water DisLrict and San Diego County Water Authority from
the Feather River Project in 1971, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain pipelines and related works
be built, for our benefit, by the San Diego County Water Authority and the
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, to bring the water
Watcr Authority and Metropolitan Water District, which will appear
On the June 7, 1966 ballot in the amounts Of $30 million for San Diego
County Water Authority and $850 million for Metropolitan Water District
