RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
APPROVING THE RE-NAMING OF "ENCINITAS
ROAD" TO "SAN MARCOS ROAD".
Be it resolved by the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District as follows:
Section 1: That the road running from Mission Road within
the City of San Marcos to the junction of Interstate # 5 now known
variously as Encinitas Road and Palomar Airport Road be renamed as
San Marcos Road.
Section 2: The Secretary of the San Marcos County Water
District is hereby instructed to forward a copy of this resolution
to the County of San Diego and the City of San Marcos.
Passed and adopted this 20th day of February 1967 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors: Blanchard, Mahr, Paul, Trussell and
Vanderbeck.
NOES: Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: None
