RESOLUTION NO. 272
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN MARCOS COIUNTY WATER DISTRICT, SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF INCURRING
INDEBTEDNESS AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE
OF HEARING.
The Board of Directors of San Marcos County Water
District, San Diego County, California,
Section 1. That this board of Directors deems
it necessary, and hereby declaresthe necessity, for the
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
to incur a bonded indebtedness in the sum of 1,200,000
for the purpose of:
The acquisition and construction of facilities for the collection, treatment and
disposal of sewage within a portion of
the district, including the acquisition of
capacity rights in the sewage treatment plant
and ocean outfall owned jointly by the City
of Carlsbad and the Vista Sanitation District,
and including the acquisition of capacity rights
in a trunk sewer owned by the Buena Sanitation
District, and including the construction of trunk
and interceptor and collector sewers and pumping
stations, and including the acquisition of the
necessary land, easements, rights-of-way, works,
machinery and other property, and including all
engineering, inspection, legal and financial con-
sultant fees, cost of the bond election and of
the issuance of said bonds, and election and of
the issuance of said bonds, and including other
costs and expenses incidental to or connected
with such acquistion and construction.
Section 2. That Monday the 15th day of
May 1967, at the hour of 3:00 o'clock p.m.
of said day, at the meeting place of this board at the District
Office, 752 W. Encinitas Road, San Marcos, Calfornia,
in said district be and the same are hereby
fixed by this Board of Directors as the time and place for
a hearing by this Board on the questions:
(1) Will the whole or only a portion of
the district be benefited by the accomplish-
ment of said purpose?
(2) If only a portion of the District
will be benefited, what portion will be so
benefited?
Section 3. That as there is no newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in said district
notice of said hearing shall be given by the Secretary of
this Board by posting a copy of this resolution in three
(3) public places within said district for at least two (2)
weeks before the time fixed for said hearing.
Section 4. That said copy of this resolution so posted
shall be accompanied by a notice subscribed by
said Secretary, with the seal of the district attached,
to the effect that the hearing referred to in this resolution
will be had at the time and place above specified,
and that at said time and place any person interested,
including all persons owning property in said district, will
be heard upon the questions stated in this resolution.
Section 5. That said Secretary is directed to give further notice
of said hearing by placing in the mail, postage
prepaid, first class, copies of said notice and of this
resolution, addressed to all persons owning property within
the proposed area to be benefited by said improvement, as
shown on the last equalized assessment roll used by the district,
said mailing to be completed at least fifteen (15) days prior to said
hearing.

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 17, 1967,
the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District
of San Diego County, California,
adopted a resolution, a full, true and correct copy of
which accompanies and immediately follows this notice.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the hearing referred to
in said resolution will be had at the time and place
specified in said resolution, to wit:

San Marcos, California
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at said time and
place specified in said resolution and above given, any
person interested, including all persons owning property in
said district, will be heard upon the questions stated in
said resolution.
