RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TtiE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT REQUESTING THE PUBLIC
UTILITIES COMMISSION TO GRANT EXTENDED TELEPHONE
SERVICE TO THE NORTH COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Public Utilities Commission of the State
of California is hereby requested to study and grant extended
telephone service to the north county of San Diego County,
California, including the communities of San Marcos, Vista, Ocean-
side, Carlsbad and Escortdido,
Section Z: That the San Marcos County Water District at
the present time serves areas that are within the Vista telephone
exchange and the District offices are within the San Marcos-Escondido
telephone exchange thereby necessitating a toll call to exchange
messages between the San Marcos County Water District and its
consumers.
Section 3: That copies of this Resolution be forwarded
to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California, and
to the City of San Marcos, the City of Vista, and the City of
Escondido.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 1967, by the
following roll call vote:
