RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD 0F DIRECTORS OF Tile SAN MARCOS
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL MANAGER
TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS RELATIVE TO A FEDERAL GRANT FOR
SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPART-
MENT OF INTERIOR
WHEREAS, the San Marcos County Water District, by its duly
authorized representatives, has heretofore made application for a
federal grant to the United States Department of tile Interior,
Federal Water Pollution Control Administration, and
~EREAS, said federal agency has made all offer OF a federal
grant in the approximate amount of $263,170.00 dated February 26,
1968, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the Board of
Directors of the San Marcos County Water District authorize and
empower a representative of this District to sign the grant offer
and all other documents in connection therewith,
NOW, TFIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DI STRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The General Manager of the San Marcos County
Water District is hereby authorized, directed and empowered to ex-
ecute, on behalf of the San Marcos County Water District, the
acceptance of that certain grant offer above referred to, dated
February 26, 1968.
Section 2: The General Manager is further authorized and
directed to execute any and all necessary documents ill connection
with said federal grant For sewage treatment works.
Section 3: The acceptance of the foregoing offer shall be
executed prior to March 11, 1968, and a certified copy of this
resolution shall be affixed to said offer and acceptance and shall
be returned to the Southwest Regional Office of the United States
Department of the interior, Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 1968, by the
Resolution No. 295
