RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
FINDING THAT THE DISTRICT SECURITIES
INVESTIGATION LAW OF 1965 DOES NOT
REQUIRE APPROVAL BY THE CALIFORNIA
DISTRICT SECURITIES COMISSION OF
BONDS OF SAID DISTICT DESIGNATED
"SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT"
FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6, SEWER
BONDS 1968, SERIES B
Whereas, the District Securities Investigation Law
of 1965 (Government Code, Sections 58750-58761) is applicable
to bond issues of San Marcos County Water District, California;
and
Whereas, the Board of Directors of said District
proposes to issue bonds of San Marocs County Water District
for Improvement District No. 6 thereof in the total principal
amount of $200,000 said bonds being designated "San Marcos
County Water District for Improvement District No. 6, Sewer
Bonds 1953, Series B; and
Whereas, said Board has adopted Resolution No.
providing for the sale of said bonds on September 24, 1968
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of San Marcos
County Water District DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the issuance of said bonds desig-
nated "San Marcos County Water District for Improvement
District No. 6, Sewer Bonds 1968, Series B" is not subject
to prior investigation, report and approval by the
California District Securities Commission for the reason
that there are five hundred (500) or more voters residing
within the District.
Section 2. That the Secretary of this Board is
hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of
this resolution with the California District Securities
Commission at least 14 days prior to the propsned date of
sale herein.
