RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
COMMENDING AND HONORING GEORGE HERDER
Whereas, the San Marcos County Water District is a public agency
organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
California, and
Whereas, George Herder has served as the initial Superintendent
of the San Marcos County Water District, and
Whereas, George Herder has served as Assistant to the Manager of
the San Marcos County Water District, and
Whereas, George Herder has given loyal and faithful service to
the San Marcos County Water District from March 1, 1956 until the day
of his retirement on October 28, 1969,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District, on behalf of their fellow citizen, by these presents, and on
behalf of the people of the San Marcos County Water District, commend
and honor George Herder for his leadership and mertiorious service on
behalf of the District. His active leadership, participation, counsel,
and guidance materially contributed to the growth and progress of the
San Marcos County Water District. By his devotion to the duties and re-
sponsibilites of Superintendent and Assistant to the Manager of the San
Marcos County Water District, he has contributed to the present and future
welfare and well-being of the citizens and residents of the San Marcos
County Water District.
