- RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT APPROVING
THE INITIAL STUDY AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION
FOR THE MEADOWLARK WATER RECLAMATION FACILITY
IMPROVEMENTS DATED DECEMBER 7, 1992
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality
Act of 1970 (California Public Resources Code section 21000 et seq.), as amended, and the
State Guidelines thereto (California Administrative Code section 15000 et seq.), the
Vallecitos Water District has prepared an Initial Study and Negative Declaration for the
Meadowlark Water Reclamation Facility Improvements dated December 7, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Initial Study and Negative Declaration have been available for
public review; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District has considered
the infonnation contained in the Initial Study and Negative Declaration for Meadowlark
Water Reclamation Facility Improvements, together with any comments received during the
public review process and any comments received at the noticed public hearing held on
January 6, 1993;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Vallecitos Water District as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District hereby certifies
that the information contained in the Initial Study and Negative Declaration for the
Meadowlark Water Reclamation Facility Improvements dated December 7, 1992, and any
comments received have been reviewed and considered.
Section 2. The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District finds, based
upon the information contained in the Initial Study and any comments received, that there
is no substantial evidence that Meadowlark Water Reclamation Facility Improvements will
have a significant effect on the environment and therefore a Negative Declaration is hereby
adopted.
Section 3. The Secretary/General Manager of the Vallecitos Water District is
hereby authorized and directed to file a Notice of Determination with the county clerk of
the County of San Diego.
