RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
SUPPORTING THE NOMINATION OF WILLIS G. CORNELIUS
TO THE OFFICE OF VICE PRESIDENT OF THE
ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA WATER AGENCIES (ACWA)
WHEREAS, Vallecitos Water District is a member of the
Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) and is actively interested
that the policies and operations of ACWA continue to provide solutions and
services necessary to the efficient operation of this District and all
water agencies in California; and
WHEREAS, Willis G. Cornelius, as a current President of the
Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water District Board of Directors with
extensive qualifications in the water community and other public service
organizations, is eminently qualified to serve as ACWA Vice President; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Vallecitos Water District
and all member agencies of ACWA to have the most qualified directors serve
as officers of ACWA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of
Vallecitos Water District hereby supports the nomination of Willis G.
Cornelius to the office of Vice President of the Association of California
Water Agencies.
