RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT
AMENDING RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES,
CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS, SALARY RANGES,
AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District
(District) has been presented with the April 1989 Final Report of the
Classification and Compensation Study for the San Marcos County Water
District (Vallecitos Water District, effective May 1, 1989) prepared by
Personnel Associates; and
WHEREAS, the Vallecitos Water District Employees Association
approved the report by a majority vote at a meeting held on May 8, 1989; and
WHEREAS, after consideration by the Board of Directors of the
recommendations by Personnel Associates for the classifications, class
descriptions, and compensation; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Rules, Regulations and
Procedures of the District for Classification of Positions, Class
Descriptions, Salary Ranges, and Other Conditions of Employment for
Employees of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District does find, determine and resolve as follows:
Section 1: Classification and Class Description
The Classifications, and Class Descriptions as contained in the
Personnel Associates report, as incorporated by reference hereto,
are approved.
Section 2: Salary Ranges
The salary ranges contained in the Personnel Classification
Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A" are hereby amended,
effective the beginning of the current pay period.
