RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
COMMENDING BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District regrets
the expiration of the term of BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD; and
WHEREAS, BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD has served the District as President of
the Board of Directors, and the District's representative on the Encina Joint Advisory
Committee, and as a member of the District Engineering and Personnel Committees through
dedication, initiative, and leadership since 1983; and
WHEREAS, the services of BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD in her active participation
and dedication to the District have materially contributed to the growth of the District, the
efficiency of the District's operations, the fiscal integrity of the District, and to the health
and welfare of the citizens and residents of the District; and
WHEREAS, the honorable and distinguished services of BERNEITA K.
RUTHERFORD have served to establish and uphold the finest traditions of citizenship
through participation in local government.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE, AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District,
on behalf of themselves, the management and pcrsonnel of the District, and on behalf
of the citizens of the District, do hereby express their appreciation and commend
and honor BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD for her five years of service to the San
Marcos County Water District and to the citizens and residents of the District.
Section 2: The contribution and diligent efforts, the selfless service of
BERNEITA K. RUTHERFORD on behalf of this District, and her devoted citizenship
are hereby memorialized as a permanent part of the records of the San Marcos
County Water District.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED at a regular meeting of the Board of
Directors of the San Marcos County Water District held on November 21, 1988, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors FERGUSON, MAHR MASON, NEWPORT
ABSENT: Directors .
