RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING ITS APPRECIATION AND COMMENDING THE
MEMBERS OF THE AD HOC WATER RATE STUDY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District, recognizing the interest and concern
expressed by the citizens of the District, determined to
appoint an Ad Hoc Water Rate Study Committee to analyze the
District's water rate and fee structure, and to make
recommendations to the Board of Directors for modifications to
that structure; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors appointed eight
citizens of the District, representing the consumers in the
various areas of District service, including agricultural,
domestic, combined agricultural and domestic, industrial and
commercial, multi-family, and pumped zones; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors appointed its
Finance Committee to sit on the Ad Hoc Water Rate Study
Committee, and employed Glenn M. Reiter & Associates to provide
the independent expertise to the Committee, along with District
Manager, Assistant Manager and Controller.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following citizens,
individually and collectively, are recognized for their
contribution to the District through their service on the Ad
Hoc Water Rate Study Committee: MARIE ANDERSON, HERB BEATY,
PAULINE BURCH, AL CARSTENSEN, DAVE FANDEL, MOLLY MIKA, HJORDIS
NOLL, AND ROSS TILTON.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April,
1987, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mason, Newport, Ferguson, Mahr, Rutherford
