RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATFA DISTRICT
ADOPTING ITS URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN

WHEREAS, water conservation is recognized as an integral part of all
water progrmms, and
WHEREAS, the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT has completed an Urban
Water Management Plan (Plan) pursuant to the requirements of California Water
Code Section 10610 et. seq., and
WH~MEAS, the Plan is the formal document to discuss past, current,
and projected water de~mnds; current and alternate water conservation
measures; water supply deficiencies; and future water mmnagement practices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATM{ DIS/RICT approves and adopts the Plan entitled Urban
Water Managmm~nt Plan for the San Marcos County Water District; and
BE IT FdRTHER RESOLVED that the General Ma~-ger of thru SAN MARCOS
COUNTY WAT~{ DIS11IICT is authorized and directed to {mplement the water
conservation mm~asures included in the Plan as the District's part in the local
and regional water conservation effort.
