RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
ORDERING THE DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
DESIGNATED THE "LEONARD SHAPIRO REORGANIZATION"
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The following facts are hereby found and determined
to be true:
(a) The territory to be detached is described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made part of this Resolution.
(b) The owners of land described in Exhibit "A" have given written
consent to detachment.
(c) The detachment of said territory will be for the best interest
of the District, the land and the owners thereof.
(d) The Board of Directors determines that all of the territory
described in Exhibit "A" shall be excluded from the District; that the
proceedings were genuine and sufficient and in all respects complied with the
District Reorganization Act of 1954 (commencing with Section 56000 of the
Government Code of the State of California).
(e) The detachment of territory as proposed was approved by the
Local Agency Formation Commission by Resolution (RO 84-21) adopted December
19, 1984.
SECTION 2: The board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District does hereby order the detachment of all territory described in
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 3: The terms and conditions of said detachment are as
follows:
(a) The description of the boundaries have been modified to conform
to Exhibit "A" of the Resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission (RO
84-21).
(b) The detachment of territory from the San Marcos County Water
District shall not become effective until proceedings have been completed for
the annexation of said territory to the Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water
District.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption; it is adopted pursuant to Section 56322 of the Government
Code and aforesaid Resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission
authorizing the initiation of proceedings without notice and hearing and
without an election.

By certified copy of this Resolution, the Executive Officer of the
Local Agency Formation Commission is requested to complete proceedings and
make the necessary filings required by law.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of February, 1985 by the
following roll call vote:

All of Lot 1 and a portion of adjacent street in Block 7 of Rancho Los
Vallecitos de San 2.iarcos, in the City of Escondido, County of San Diego,
according to 2.1ap thereof ~.;o. 806, filed in the Office of County Recorder
of San Diego County, December 21, 1895, being described as follows:
Beginning' at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 1;
1. Thence North 26°49'40" East, 572.50 feet along the northwesterly line
of said Lot 1 to the northwesterly corner thereof;
2. Thence South 62°45'37" East, 363.04 feet along the northeasterly line
of said Lot to the northeasterly cornersthereof;
3. Thence South 26°52'01" West along the southeasterly line of said Lot
and the southwesterly prolongation thereof to the intersection with
the survey line for Mission Road 1-B as located by the County Highway
Commission as shown on Sheets 2 and 3, filed in the County Recorder's
Office of said County as file No. 120408, Book 3, Page 264, of
miscellaneous maps;
4. Thence ~orth 66~18' West along said survey line to the intersection
with the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of
said Lot 1;
5. Thence North 26049'40" East along said southwesterly prolongation
to the point of beginning.
