RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICES OF
VANCE R. SIMPSON
AS OFFICE MANAGER/ACCOUNTANT OF THE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, VANCE R. SIMPSON has served as Office Manager/Accountant
for the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT from February ll, 1975;
WHEREAS, the Board desires that public recognition of the services
of VANCE R. SIMPSON on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: The Board of Directors of the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT has been informed of the forthcoming retirement of VANCE R. SIMPSON
on February ll, 1985.
Section 2: VANCE R. SIMPSON served as Office Manager/Accountant
of the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT from February 11, 1975. The advice
and assistance of VANCE R. SIMPSON has resulted in efficient and effective
operation of the District's Accounting and Office Departments.
Section 3: The financial advice and guidance which VANCE R.
SIMPSON has given to the Management of the District has enabled the Board to
take action and make decisions with the assurance that the policies adopted
and actions taken were based upon sound financial advice and judgment. This
assistance has been greatly appreciated by the various members of the Board of
Directors and Staff.
Section 4: The Board of Directors wishes to express through this
Resolution the deep appreciation of the Board of Directors, the personnel of
the District, and the residents of the District for the services of VANCE R.
SIMPSON as Office Manager/Accountant of the District. All members of the
Board of Directors hope that VANCE R. SIMPSON obtains from this Resolution a
realization that his efforts have been appreciated.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED at a Regular Meeting of the Board of
Directors held this 21st day of January, 1985, by the following roll call vote:
