RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICES of
JAMES F. McKAY
AS GENERAL MANAGER OF THE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, JAMES F. McKAY has served as General Manager for the SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT from December 2, 1968, and;
WHEREAS, the Board desires that public recognition of the services
of JAMES F. McKAY on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: The Board of Directors of the SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT has been informed of the forthcoming retirement of JAMES F. McKAY on
December 7, 1984.
Section 2: JAMES F. McKAY has served as General Manager of the
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT from December 2, 1968. His services to the
District have provided outstanding leadership to the personnel of the District
and to the Board of Directors throughout the period of his employment. The
advice and assistance of JAMES F. McKAY have resulted in efficient and
effective operation of the District water and sewer systems. The result of
his management has been the extension of utility systems throughout the
District area to provide adequate and reliable services within the District.
Section 3: The advice and guidance given to the Board of
Directors of the District has enabled the Board to take action and make
decisions with the assurance that the policies adopted and actions taken were
based upon sound advice and judgment. This assistance has been greatly
appreciated by the various members of the Board of Directors throughout the
years during which JAMES F. McKAY has provided leadership.
Section 4: The Board of Directors wishes to express through this
Resolution the deep appreciation of the Board of Directors, the personnel of
the District, and the residents of the District for the services of JAMES F.
McKAY as General Manager of the District. All members of the Board of
Directors hope that JAMES F. McKAY obtains from this Resolution a realization
that his efforts have been appreciated.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED at a Regular Meeting of the Board of
Directors held this 27th Day of November, 1984 by the following roll call vote:
