RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
COMMENDING LINDEN R. BURZELL
WHEREAS, LINDEN R. BURZELL has served the water industry of San
Diego County through dedicated initiative and devotion as General Manager and
Chief Engineer of the San Diego County Water Authority for 20 years; and
WHEREAS, the services of LINDEN R. BURZELL and his
participation and dedication to the Authority has materially contributed to
the growth and efficiency of the Authority's operations; and
WHEREAS, the San Marcos County Water District has benefitted by
having the leadership of LINDEN R. BURZELL in the San Diego County Water
Authority; and
WHEREAS, the San Marcos County Water District recognizes the
accomplishments and achievements of LINDEN R. BURZELL affecting the growth and
success of the San Marcos County Water District through his service at the San
Diego County Water Authority;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, RESOLVE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Board of Directors of the San Marcos County
Water District on behalf of themselves, the Staff and Personnel of the
District, and on behalf of the citizens of the District do hereby express
their appreciation and commend LINDEN R. BURZELL for his 20 years of service
to the San Diego County Water Authority.
Section 2: The contributions and services of Linden R.
Burzell through the San Diego County Water Authority and on behalf of this
District are hereby memorialized as a permanent part of the records of the San
Marcos County Water District.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED at a Regular Meeting of the Board
of Directors of the San Marcos County Water District held on February 6, 1984
by the following roll call vote:
