AN ORDINANCE OF THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 65, ARTICLE V, USE OF PUBLIC
SEWERS, SECTION 1, RELATING TO THE DISCHARGE OF
PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL DRAINAGE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN MARCOS
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1
Ordinance No. 65, Article V, USE OF PUBLIC SEWERS; SECTION 1
DISCHARGE OF NON -SEWAGE WATERS, is hereby amended as follows:
No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any storm
water, surface water, yard drainage, street drainage, groundwater,
roof runoff, subsurface drainage, uncontaminated cooling water or
unpolluted industrial process waters, or swimming pool drainage,
excepting wastewater fram the backwashing of swimming pool filters,
in conformance with the State Department of Health Services Rules
and Regulations governing oonstruction, maintenance and operation of
public swimming pools to any sanitary sewer.
This Ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon adoption and
shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the
District.
