RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
VALLECITOS WATER DISTRICT EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES OF DARRELL L. MCMULLEN
WHEREAS, The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District regrets the retirement
of DARRELL MCMULLEN; and
WHEREAS, DARRELL MCMULLEN has served the Vallecitos Water District for more than
14 years beginning in July 1988 as Controller, and appointed to the position of Director of Finance
following a February 1998 reorganization. DARRELL MCMULLEN served the District for those
14 years with great skill and devotion, demonstrating his ability to work with customers and other
employees of the District; and
WHEREAS, DARRELL MCMULLEN has managed the District's finances with uncommon
proficiency, earning the District a reputation for excellent financial stability and allowing the District
to provide services to its customers at low rates; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires that public recognition of the services of
DARRELL MCMULLEN on behalf of the District be given;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water
District as follows:
SECTION 1: The Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District, on behalf of
themselves, the management, and personnel of the District and on behalf of the citizens of the
District, does hereby express its appreciation for the very valuable and professional work
performed by DARRELL MCMULLEN.
SECTION 2: The contribution, diligent efforts, selfless service of DARRELL MCMULLEN
on behalf of this District and his devoted loyalty are hereby commended as part of the permanent
records of the Vallecitos Water District.
SECTION 3: The Board of Directors, staff, and employees of the District, collectively and
individually, wish DARRELL MCMULLEN the best fortune in his future.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Vallecitos Water District at a
regular meeting held on this 17th day of July, 2002 by the following roll call vote:
