RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATION FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 76-3 AND AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BID
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County
Water District has heretofore adopted its Resolution of Intention
to order improvements and to form Assessment District No. 76-3
under the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913; and
WHEREAS, Neste, Brudin & Stone, Inc. (herein referred to
as the "Engineer") has prepared plans and specifications for the
construction of certain water improvements for the benefit of the
proposed Assessment District No. 76-3; and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to submit said
plans and specifications for bid in order to determine the feasi-
bility of the installation thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos
County Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
SECTION 1. The plans and specifications prepared by
the Engineer and entitled "Contract Documents and Specifications
for the Construction of a 1.0 Million Gallon Steel Tank, Water
Transmission Mains and Appurtenances for Assessment District No.
76-3 (Questhaven)are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Secretary is hereby instructed to submit
to contractors said plans and specifications for bid as set forth
in said plans and specifications, and to publish the notice inviting
bids, which appears in said specifications, in THE SAN MARCOS
OUTLOOK, a newspaper of general circulation within the Disttict.
Said notice inviting bids shall provide that bids shall be received
and opened by the Secretary on September 26, 1978, at the hour of
3:00 o'clock p.m. in the office of said Secretary.
