RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SAN MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA,
REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NO. 552 AND 553
Assessment District No. 76-2 (Mt. Whitney)
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has heretofore adopted its Resolu-
tion No. 552, entitled "Resolution of the Board of Directors of the San
Marcos County Water Distrct, California, Approving Report and Fixing
Time and Place of Hearing Protests to Proposed Improvements"; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has also heretofore adopted its
Resolution No. 553, entitled "Resolution of the Board of Directors of the
San Marcos County Water District, California, Approving Plans and Specifi-
cations for Improvements in Assessment District No. 76-2 and Authorizing
the Submission of Plans and Specifications for Bid"; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors wishes to reconsider said actions
and to reevaluate the improvements proposed to be made in Assessment Dis-
trict No. 76-2 in an effort to reduce the potential cost to the landowners
within said Assessment District,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District HEREBY DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 552 and Resolution No. 553, and each of
them, are hereby repealed in their entirety.
SECTION 2. The Staff of the District hereby is authorized and direc-
ted to confer with the Engineer of Work to determine the feasibility of
reducing the scope of the improvements proposed to be installed in Assess-
ment District No. 76-2 and of any other method by which the costs of such
improvements might be reduced.
