RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN
MARCOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT MAKING CERTAIN
CHANGES TO THE ASSESSMENTS PREVIOUSLY CON-
FIRMED IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 76-2
(MT. WHITNEY)
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has by its Resolution No. 579
made certain determinations, confirmed assessments and proceedings, and ordered
proposed improvements in the matter of Assessment District 76-2 (Mount Whitney);
and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution No. 579, the
Engineer of Work has recommended certain changes to be made in the assessment
as confirmed by said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors wishes to effect certain of said
changes as recommended,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the San Marcos County Water
District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. The assessments previously confirmed on the following
described parcels hereby are revised as set forth hereinbelow:

In accordance with the aforesaid changes, the total amount of the assessment
heretofore confirmed in connection with Assessment District No. 76-2 is hereby
reduced from $5,696,875.00 to $5,655,713.80; and said assessment, as so reduced
hereby is confirmed and fixed in said amount.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the District hereby is authorized and
directed to endorse the fact and date of such changes on the Report pertaining
to Assessment District No. 76-2 heretofore prepared by the Engineer of Work. and
approved by this Board of Directors. Said Secretary is further authorized and
directed to file and record the assessment diagram and assessment roll, as revised,
as required bySections 311 and 10401 of the California Streets and Highways Code;

and the Engineer shall record a Notice of Assessment and give notice of the re-
cordation of said assessment as required by Sections 3114 and 10401 of the
California Streets and Highways Code; and the Engineer shall record a Notice of
Assessment and give notice of the recordation of said assessment as required by
Sections 3114 and 10404 of said Code.
SECTION 3. Notice of the recordation of the assessment shall be
published in THE SAN MARCOS OUTLOOK
SECTION 4. The Engineer is hereby instructed to record said
assessment and diagram in his office, in the office of the County Surveyor of
San Diego County, and in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of the
City of San Marcos pursuant to Section 10401 of the Streets and Highways Code
and to give the notice as provided in Section 10600 of said Code.
